Schultz Inducted as a Fellow in the Virginia Law Foundation

Crenshaw, Ware & Martin, P.L.C. is proud to announce that Donald C. Schultz has been inducted as a Fellow in the Virginia Law Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Virginia bar. Each year the Foundation selects a group of top lawyers and retired judges for their integrity, character, and legal excellence. With his induction in 2018, Don joins six other present and former CWM attorneys, Frank Crenshaw, Guilford Ware, Howard Martin, Tim Coyle, Ann Sullivan, and Jim Chapman, and continues a path for CWM that started more than 30 years ago. Howard Martin Honored for 50 Years of Service

At the 79th annual meeting of the Virginia State Bar, Howard Martin was recognized for fifty years of service to the Bar. His service included nine years on the Bar Council (2000 – 2009) and six years on the Executive Committee, including President from 2007 to 2008. Howard's dedication to the legal profession has included serving on the Executive Committees for the Virginia Bar Association and the Norfolk and Portsmouth Bar Association, where he served as president from 1997-1998. He also served on the Board of the Virginia Law Foundation, including as President from 1995-1996.…

Ryan Snow Is the New Chairman of the Board of Norfolk Botanical Garden

CWM's Managing Partner Ryan Snow has been elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Norfolk Botanical Garden is a nationally accredited garden with over 11,000 members and 400,000 annual visitors. Over the next few years, Ryan will lead the Garden through one of its largest growth periods in its 80-year history, including addition of a state-of-the-art water education center, a fully redesigned entry pavilion, a new conservatory, a large scale parking garden, and a fully renovated historical administration building. Intel Uses Drones, AI to Help Save Polar Bears and Whales

Today, on World Animal Day, Intel Corp. is announcing two successful wildlife research expeditions powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and drones. Equifax Data Breach

Equifax, one of the largest credit score providers in America, announced on September 7, 2017 that it was the victim of a large-scale hack that exposed the personal information, including Social Security numbers, of an estimated 143 million Americans. In addition to Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, driver’s license numbers, 182,000 credit dispute documents and approximately 209,000 credit card numbers were also exposed during the data breach. This data breach could affect up to 44 percent of the American population.
