Audrey T. Ruffin

Audrey T. Ruffin is an attorney in Crenshaw, Ware & Martin's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group. Audrey's cybersecurity and data privacy practice focuses on assisting businesses, nonprofit organizations, local governments, and public entities with cybersecurity incident response, privacy compliance, data governance, and technology-related risk management. Audrey is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Audrey regularly advises clients on cybersecurity incidents, data breach response, privacy compliance, information governance, policy development, and emerging issues involving artificial intelligence and technology.

In addition to her cybersecurity and privacy practice, Audrey's local government and business practice focuses on providing counsel to businesses, political subdivisions, housing authorities, religious organizations, and nonprofit entities on a variety of governance and operational matters, including contracts, real estate transactions, freedom of information, entity formation, risk management, and organizational compliance.

Audrey received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D., with Honors, from Regent University School of Law. Prior to joining Crenshaw, Ware & Martin, Audrey served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David W. Lannetti of the Norfolk Circuit Court and as a law clerk for Regent University's Center for Global Justice.
