Nurse/Litigation Paralegal

Crenshaw, Ware & Martin, PLC seeks a nurse/litigation paralegal with minimum of four years’ experience to support fast-paced medical and litigation practice. A familiarity with the EPIC emr is required. 15-20 hours a week working on medical records, sending records to experts, collecting missing records, expert designations, etc. The remainder of the week will be supporting general litigation involving commercial, complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts. Candidate must possess skills and experience to independently manage civil discovery process under both federal and state rules, including drafting of routine pleadings and management of document production, including electronically stored information. Must have substantial experience and demonstrated skills with PACER, e-discovery platforms, TABS, Practice Master, Case Map, and Text Map. It is assumed the candidate will have a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or later, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applicants may be required to demonstrate proficiency. Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
