James L. Johnsen

James is a litigation associate at Crenshaw, Ware & Martin. Originally from Arizona, he received his B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.

He focused his studies and extracurricular activities in law school on admiralty and maritime law and particularly on the federal government’s role and responsibilities in those areas. Following law school, James clerked for the Honorable Douglas E. Miller, a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.
