Melissa Morris Picco

Mrs. Picco handles a broad range of civil litigation matters in federal and state courts. Her practice includes employment, construction law, insurance defense and premises liability matters. Mrs. Morris Picco is licensed to practice law in Virginia and West Virginia.

  • Civil litigation practice involves all aspects of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration and mediation.
  • Represents employers and employees on various issues involving Fair Labor Standards Act grievances, discrimination actions, sexual harassment claims, and wrongful discharge litigation.
  • Represents litigants in construction and contract disputes ranging from mechanics' liens to installation and design defects to payment and performance bond claims.
  • Winner (Best Brief Competition) and Semi-Finalist (Oral Advocacy Competition) in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition and member of the National Moot Court Team, Washington and Lee University School of Law
